Week 4.

Another set of compositions here I just wanted to try out something a bit different. My favourite one is the wharf, I really like how the silhouette is a negative space, it makes it pop out more than the black. Although I do not think they are as strong as my first compositions.

Week 3.

Working on different compositions for each activity. Using a fish silhouette to cut out texture and create the scene of the activity. I feel my strongest compositions are the wharf designs, they have a really nice shape and follow through them. My weakest is the boat design, I don't feel they interesting enough, and the activity seems to get lost but I didn't want to make the boat big as I was trying to get across that your out on the sea with kms of water in and the boat is just this little thing.

Week 3.

Using illustrator I created these markings I wanted to symbolise the busyness of each destination.

Wharf - calm and relaxing = little waves.

Beach - active but quite = medium waves

Charter - Active and busy, fast past = big waves

Incorporating theses into my designs adds an extra layer of information, I prefer the black markings as the look nice as a set of three and also the paint brush gives a nice hand made aesthetic. Also with it been one colour I can change it easily.
